My final project for Painting I, we pick what portrait we want to do and I had this really neat photo from NekoCon of me and my friend Mikel, which accidentally had her head cut off. I liked it, so I used the fact that her face was half gone to my creative advantage. I love how this came out. It's the only one of my paintings I actually like. It's like Valentines Day exploded all over her face. :XD:

Done in oil paints which is a tricky medium when you first start out with it. It's also why everything is so shiny.

I know the purple became very red-is when I took the photo but it still looks like the way i wanted it too. ;P

This is epic. For it being an oil *with which I suck* this is fantastic.
I love how it even seems to break from your normal style.. so nice.
Not to mention I think you captured her attitude perfectly.

hehe She really liked it too! I know it looks way different then how I would draw normally which is a plus in this case. But you can still tell I did it. Thank you all around!!
